Our wasted evolutionary potential is evident in the amount of landfills, dams, prisons, mines, nuclear reactors and vaults accumulating in the world.

Hidden Secrets of Money

I do think everyone should know this, however, these guys are also wanting to sell their gold, so it is an advert for them to...I think the issue is deeper than this and think that supporting our new monetary system by continuing to grow a mode of consciousness that drains natural resources is even more destructive...I propose that instead of the ...'gold mold'..... attributing money with the value of art distinguishes it with an alternative value to that of gold, and so what would the implications of this be for the kind of mode of consciousness that prevails, which attributes the value of money to gold?....if the art function is contextualized as the value form of an economy , how would- making the function of art the value of an economy- expand the potential of an economy (how would this shape our mode of consciousness ecologically)?

I come away with the question, if South Africa is a common law economic country , why is there still such extreme poverty etc? Also, I am concerned about the care of the land, water, air and animals in Africa, not that I am saying Capitalism is not (possibly) a good way for people to flourish, but at what expense in terms of waste, viewing the earth as an endless natural resource and a growth economy which breeds greed delusion and aggression. I am interested in a third possiblity, which is humane. However, based on what was said in the interview, the potential of a common law sounds much more liberating than the civic law.

A thought on technology:
My friend  shared an insight with me that started a new thought for me:
She said that her child, a three year old, was having skin rashes all over her body when she was away from home for a few days. My friend said that her child's' body is just too small for her psyche at the moment and she has this physical reaction.
I was walking in the forest this morning and thinking of the idea of  living beings in the world, I remembered this story that my friend told me and the thought that came from this for me is: Technology is a much too small body for our psyche.
